What I Made Today: Floral Globe Paper Lantern Chandelier

I finally finished making the floral paper globe lantern chandelier I posted about a couple of weeks ago (here if your missed it). I’m very happy with how it came out, and even better, so is Ellie. We had a few minor disputes about the size it should be, but finally agreed on this. If you recall, the flowers are pages from Harry Potter books, which I layered with teal faux flowers and paper flowers, felt leaves, and pearl accents:

We have a ways to go on this room. I don’t love the bed and will likely make a new headboard one of these days. And we need an area rug and better pillows, but that’s all down the road a bit. I do think the light is a good start though!

Here is another thing I am working on. These simple shelves went up in one of the bathrooms last night, and the light when up a couple of weeks ago. I have to paint and caulk the shelves still, but wanted to show you:
