I painted my basement black yesterday. I still have the trim work to do, so I can’t show you just yet. It was fun because my 17 year old son helped. Man, kids are strong! He was so fast and never got tired. Youth is wasted on the young, as they say. My dining room is black (more here):
So I know it’s a color I can feel happy with. The basement is more of a challenge because there is less natural light, but the goal is to make it like a swanky modern lounge for the teens. We’ll see!
Those of you who have been reading for a while know that I also like light and bright rooms as well as dark and moody ones. Really, I like almost every style if it’s done well. Today I want to show you some light neutral rooms. Enjoy!
